We are STUDIO Horn Section
Based out of Sydney, Australia, we are a live touring and studio horn section with experience working with some of the biggest artists in the world. Our members can be heard on studio recordings for acts including Sigala ft. French Montana, Passenger, Meghan Trainor, John Farnham, Jane Zhang, Jessie J and Sarah Blasko and television series including The Voice, Australian Idol and many more.
On stage, our members have played for Tones and I, Taylor Swift, Michael Buble, Flume, Tim Minchin, Noel Gallagher, Human Nature and many, many more.
We have recorded commercials and jingles for companies and products of all sizes and for televised events including the 2018 Commonwealth Games, The ARIAs and The Logies.
The core section of Ben Gurton, James Mackay and Adrian Veale have worked together since touring on the Australian tour of Sony artist Jessica Mauboy. As certain music demands, the section changes in size adding additional professional members.

Flexible section sizes and recording options
Choose the section size you want, or have us guide you. We multi-track all the parts so you have different takes to choose from, and lots of options for mixing.
We offer a range of world class microphones specific for brass, from Royer AEA, RCA, Neumann and others. Now you can have the best sound without having to hire an engineer or a studio.
